EndpointsBrook Road in Milton to Babson Street in Mattapan
JurisdictionMass DCR, MassDOT, Town of Milton and City of Boston (project managed by Town of Milton DPW)
DescriptionCoordinate signal timing among intersections, improve motor vehicle traffic flow, connect the Neponset River Greenway trail across the roadway and add bike lanes and sharrows.
Bike InfrastructureNeponset River Greenway crossing of Blue Hill Avenue / Blue Hills Parkway with two new stoplights. Blue Hills Parkway bike lanes will be extended through the intersection, except northbound between Curtis Roa and River Street, which will have sharrows.  Traffic detector loops in the bike lanes will assist bicyclists crossing the intersection.
 Notes

- May 22: Trees have been marked and protected, work site barrels have been put up, new drainage components have arrived on site, turf has been dug up on the west side of the intersection.
